Leafy L18 — Edwardian semis, the Calderstones Park side, and roads wide enough that parking the van isn't the usual battle. Leigh covers the postcode properly.
L18 is one of south Liverpool's most pleasant postcodes — broad avenues of Edwardian semis and detacheds, many with double garages, established gardens, and the sort of internal layout (proper entrance halls, separate dining rooms, big landings) that makes a move feel like a proper job. The Calderstones Park side is particularly desirable, and properties here tend to be well-kept and well-furnished.
Allerton brings a slightly tighter mix of semis and some 1920s and 1930s builds, while the roads around Mossley Hill station are among the quieter residential spots in the city — good parking, no permit zones, and neighbours who tend to leave space for the van.
